Skúli Gautason sings and plays acoustic guitar and percussion in Sniglabandið. He founded the band and has written some of its most popular songs. Skúli brings depth, energy and character to the music.

Skúli Gautason founded the Sniglaband and is the band’s singer and acoustic guitarist.
A trained actor, Skúli sometimes brings a theatrical touch to the band’s music. He loves connecting with the audience and is always bringing fresh ideas to the table.
Skúli played with the legendary Pungó & Daisy in their heyday. He has also played with Rjúpan, Rúsínan, Strandabandið and Popphljómsveit Íslands.
He has directed numerous theatre productions all over Iceland and worked as a cultural manager for many years.
