Einar Rúnarsson

Einar Rúnarsson is Sniglabandið’s organist, usually found playing a Hammond organ. A born comedian, Einar is one of the funniest men in Iceland. He is also a brilliant musician who can turn his hand to just about any style of music.

During his school years, he played in Reðr. He also plays with Blúsmenn Andreu, BP & þegiðu Ingibjörg!, Ebenezer Quart, Járnkarlinn and Skaf.

Together with Þorgils, he makes up the experimental-teenage-death-metal-band Blóðmör.

Some years back, Einar and Björgvin became the voices of the Smurfs, singing on four albums, each more popular than the last.
